Texture of the strawberry inside was not appealing. Got pulled in by the advertisement. Not worth the price and would not order it again.
We've been fans of Chuao for years now - as presents and self-consumption. So I bought one 6 piece and one 12 piece of love child. They had little taste and no real texture. Sadly, my spouse said they "sucked". Couldn't taste any wine either.
I wasn’t sure how I would feel about these as I am more of a fresh strawberry person and not into port, BUT anything dark chocolate from Chuao I had to try. Result: decadent and delicious. I had one per night til they ran out.
I tried them last year and wanted to get more. I was so disappointed to find them sold out before I got to them this year.
