Why add a Neurotoxin to chocolate?

I am attempting to wrap my brain around why a chocolate company would add vitamins in general to a chocolate bark. The icing is that they’ve added b6, a proven neurotoxin that can cause irreversible nerve damage, to it without adding any information as to how much is in it. I am healing from b6 toxicity and would have never in a million years thought to look for b6 in the ingredient list on this product and am just floored. Daily recommended value is 1.3mg for females. Not much. So for it to be added to something so ridiculous as chocolate is insane.

Thank you so much for your feedback and sorry to hear about your condition. We do not add b6 to our chocolate. The churro cereal we use in the bark recipe is fortified and contains the added b6. This is common for cereals and breads in the US, so extra caution may be needed for products that may contain these as sub ingredients. Our Churro Bark Luxe serving contains 18.4% or .23mg of the daily recommended value of b6.

Amazing Chocolate

I picked up a bag of the Chocolate Covered Churro at a Costco in LA a month ago while visiting my son. This is sooooo good. Absolutely the best chocolate treat I have ever had and being retired I have had many. Top quality chocolate, and the churro is crunchy and tastes amazing. They have many varieties. You have to try it at least once. It is really good.
