Spicy Maya Chocolate Martini

With the help of our Spicy Maya Drinking Chocolate, this cocktail has a little bit of red hot heat, rich, gourmet dark chocolate, and a splash of vodka to give it that classic martini feel. We added coffee liqueur to round it out and keep it full bodied – a little coffee goes a long way in bringing out the depth of chocolate! It’s not overly sweet, and the added dash of cayenne on top gives it an extra spicy, sultry kick! It’s a sweet spin on the chocolate martini, and is guaranteed to be all the rave at every party you throw this year.

  • 2 oz good quality vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur
  • 2 tbsp. Spicy Maya Drinking Chocolate (add more for thicker chocolate sauce!)
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • Ice

Yields 1 Cocktail.


  1. 1. Combine the water and the Spicy Maya drinking chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Place in the microwave and heat for 30 seconds. Stir. If the mix is not completely melted, place in the microwave again at 15 second increments until the mix is melted completely. Set aside and let cool.
  2. Once the drinking chocolate mix is cooled to about room temperature, combine vodka, coffee liqueur, and melted drinking chocolate into a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. Close the lid and shake rigorously for about 30 seconds.
  4. Strain the cocktail into your favorite martini glass.
  5. Add a sprinkle of cayenne on top.
  6. Serve, and enjoy.
